The works are made of negative plaster casts, which were shown to be as finished products, the supposedly beginning process of a sculpture as an end product. It explores on the idea of hatched shells, or even as that of a snake’s skin, a residual proof that something has come out of it, although trying to displace the limelight from that which came out to where it came from, or perhaps, highlighting the space in between them. And though there are indexical signs of incubation, the forms are no longer of nurslings but of adults. As the title would imply, when do grown-ups come about? Is it when they have left the hollow or upon them leaving the hollow?
